Paul Bird and siblings on the park on Kersal Flats in the late 1970s or very early 1980s. This is the most detailed picture of the park that I have ever seen. You can see the old benches, the swings, the peeling blue paint on the slide, and that dangerous old fence! A brilliant slice of a Kersal childhood.A great picture that shows the flats and the park in great detail. Roll your mouse over the image to see the same spot 30 years later in March 2009
