Paul Bird and siblings on the park on Kersal Flats in the late 1970s or very early 1980s. This is the most detailed picture of the park that I have ever seen. You can see the old benches, the swings, the peeling blue paint on the slide, and that dangerous old fence! A brilliant slice of a Kersal childhood.A great picture that shows the flats and the park in great detail. A beautiful picture of the late Grace Randle and family enjoying the delightful Kersal Dale during the summer of 1975. This picture perfectly captures how Kersal folk loved and enjoyed the Dale during the 1970s. Roll your mouse over the image for the same spot in March 2009.
